7-inch Blade in Subway Sandwich

Injury News

I would like a turkey sub with mustard, onions, swiss cheese, green peppers, tomatoes, a little S & P, and a blade to add a little zing. Actually this past June, John Agnesini, 26, ordered a 12-inch “Cold Cut Trio” sandwich and later found a 7-inch blade that had been baked right into the bread.

Agnesini stated that he had a couple of bites before he noticed the blade protruding out of the sandwich. He also stated that if he hadn’t looked at it “I don’t know what would have happened.” He’s now filed a lawsuit against Subway in Manhattan’s state court seeking $1 million.

One of Agnesini’s friends contacted Subway to complain but said they never even apologized. Kevin Kane is the spokesman for Subway and stated that food safety and customer comments are taken seriously and so they are investigating this incident further. Kane did not add much more than that since he said the pending lawsuit against Subway prevents him from discussing any details of the situation.

If you have suffered any injuries or have been put in precarious situation involuntarily, you may need legal assistance.
