He left a trail of accidents behind him and then just headed home. Tony Lee Ray, 31, was arrested for a felony hit-and-run with a vehicle, a DUI, reckless driving, theft, and about fie counts of hit-and-run involving property. He sits now in a county jail with his bail set at $68,734.
Ray was caught at his home where he ended his spree of accidents by hitting a parked trailer.
It started with local police getting a call about someone in a pickup truck causing some road rage incident. Then police were dispatched to a car crash. After this accident police were informed of another.
They then realized that it was the same truck causing all these accidents. After police put in the truck’s vehicle registration, they realized that this truck was headed in the direction of his home. So police headed to the suspect’s home intent on getting there before him. They were able to arrest him pretty easily since he had crashed into a trailer.
The accidents included a total of six cars. There was a woman who was injured in one of the accidents. She was treated at a local hospital and then released.
