Specifically, there have been reports of serious side effects developing in those who use Reglan products, including involuntary movements of the extremities, rapid eye movement and several other obvious symptoms that involve the central nervous system.
The FDA has required Baxter to place a ‘black box’ warning on all containers of Reglan products and has also ordered Baxter to perform a study that will determine whether or not the risks of keeping these products on the market outweigh the benefits.
