AP- In Okalahoma , Herbert Otis Waldon Jr., 51 died in a car accident. Troopers reported that Walson was driving his pickup truck just before midnight last Friday night. He ran of the side of the road and then tried to correct himself but instead swerved to the left side of the road where he then collided into a tree.
He was stuck for about an hour. Rescue workers took him to the hospital where he was pronounced dead from his head and other injuries.
Police said he was not wearing a seatbelt.
In an unrelated accident, 59-year-old man died in an auto accident too. Gary L. Boutwell was killed in a crash that happened Saturday morning after 9:00 am. He was driving his car through an intersection where a second vehicle did not stop at a stop sign which caused him to crash into Boutwell.
Police say that Boutwell was hit head-on by the oncoming car.
Both the drivers part of this crash became trapped into their cars. Boutwell was pronounced dead at the accident site as he sustained massive internal injuries.
Police added that Boutwell was wearing his seatbelt.
In a third unrelated rollover accident, Mercedes Gallardo, 3, was killed in an accident when the car she was riding in flipped over.
She died at the accident which was around 8:30 am Saturday morning. Dena Gallardo, 35, was driving the car when she was unable to keep control of her car at a curve in the road. She dropped to the right side of the road, hit and embankment, which caused her car to flip once. Mercedes and the other two passengers, 7 and 6 were thrown out of the car. The two older children were taken to the hospital and are in stable condition.
Police stated that no one in the car was wearing seatbelts.
